The Department of Community-Based Rehabilitation extends physiotherapy services to rural and underserved populations, aligning with APC College’s mission of holistic community health development. The department emphasizes preventive care, home-based rehabilitation, and integration of persons with disabilities into society.

Laboratory & Equipment:
- CBR Lab and Mobile Unit equipped for field-based rehabilitation services
- Portable electrotherapy units, exercise kits, and mobility aids
- Wheelchairs, walkers, parallel bars, and transfer boards for functional training
- Community education materials and assistive device fabrication support
- Swiss balls and mats for exercise demonstration
- Yoga and fitness setups for preventive care
- Special modules on Geriatric rehabilitation, Women’s Health, ANC & PNC fitness programs
- Balance and Pain Management training for senior citizens
Students participate in outreach programs, community camps, and home-based rehabilitation services. This hands-on experience prepares them to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to holistic community health development.
